iStable has many reports. The following article introduces the purpose behind each report. The reports are categorized to help navigation, and the list below shows the category > report name.
Activities > Completed Activities
This report shows all completed activities for all horses in your subscription. By using the sorting and filtering features, you can answer questions like: “What activities have I completed for this horse?” or “What horses have I completed this vaccination for in the last 6 months?”
Activities > Open/Scheduled Activities
This report shows all open/scheduled activities for all horses in your subscription. By using the sorting and filtering features, you can answer questions like: “What horses have a vaccination due today?”. One important thing to understand about our scheduler: We generate scheduled activities based on the criteria setup up to 7 days in advance. So if you have an activity setup to occur monthly, those activities will be only generated up to 7 days before they are due, but you won’t see those activities any further in advance than that.
Management > Days At Facility
This report asks for a date range, then presents each horse, and what facility they were in during that date range. For each facility, the elapsed time at the facility is shown.

Custom Reporting > Custom Horse Report
This report is a little different. It presents a list of fields that we store about the horses, and allows you to select which of these fields you want to see on a horse. NOTE: This is a listing of static data about a horse, not it’s transactions (see activities and logistics reports for this data). But if you’d like a report with last coggins date, lasix certification date, and the horse’s breed, for instance, this is your utility for creating the report.
Once you’ve selected your fields, and hit run, the report will display. You can add extra fields if you like, and they report will update immediately on the screen.
All the sorting/filtering options are available to you.
The one option that isn’t available is the PDF export. This is because of the many different combinations of reports that are possible, we can’t properly pre-format for the PDF generator. However, you can export to CSV, and manipulate the formatting in excel.
