Currently individuals maintained in the system can be configured to receive certain email notifications.
Important Note: Individuals designated as Non Employees, only receive emails when the notification is marked Yes, and only for horses they are associated with. A person is associated to a horse by assigning the person’s account to the Client which owns the horse (this association can be performed from either the Person’s associated Clients page or from the Client’s associated people page).
From the People listing under Administration in the left-hand toolbar, a user may select a person to view.
First ensure that the person’s account is assigned to all of their related Clients by selecting the Clients link.
Next click Notifications.
Notifications will display as either Yes or No next to the notification type.
For individuals designated as Employees, simply select the “Receive Automated Notifications” option to Yes and they will receive their selected notifications for all horses.
Current notification types are:
Workouts: Contact receives a real-time email with the specific workout information as soon as it is logged within the system (Jockey Club provided).
Race Entry: Contact receives a real-time email with race entry information as soon as it is logged within the system. (Jockey Club provided)
Race Result: Contact receives a real-time email with race result information as soon as it is logged within the system. (Jockey Club provided)
Pedigree Updates: Contact receives a real-time email as soon a family member of the horse generates a pedigree update. (Jockey Club provided)
Change Facility: As soon as a horse is moved from one facility to another the Contact receives an email notification.
Owner Note Addition: Every 30 minutes, a contact will receive an email notification with the content of any owner note that has been uploaded to the system.
Documents and Multimedia: Every 30 minutes, a contact will receive an email notification of all documents and multimedia (photos and videos) which been uploaded to the system.
Set Lists: When the trainer selects to send a set list email, iStable will send to each contact the set-list info for their specific horse(s).
Prior to this release the system would only send automated emails to individuals who were associated with a client which owned the horse. This new feature introduces a toggle switch on the person’s detail page titled “Receive Automated Notification?” This will only be shown on accounts designated as “Employees”. By setting this switch to “Yes”, the employee may then also receive the automated email notifications for all horses. Non employees will continue to receive only those notifications for the horses owned by clients to which their accounts are associated.
